Mississippi was hard to fish. Everywhere we went the water was high and muddy. Most rivers were above their banks and the lakes were full to the brim with no accessible shoreline. Cindy would not let me use my float tube as there were alligators. I tried fishing several places with no success. We stayed at Lefleur’s Bluff State Park in Jackson MS where there are several lakes. When we arrived, our campsite was flooded so the ranger moved us to a higher site. The locals were catching some fish on worms under a bobber, no success on lures. There was sufficient clarity of water to fish successfully with a popper for Brim. I caught several rab=ngeing from about 5 to 8 inches.
